Presence Film

Steven Soderbergh pushes his directorial skills with this nifty paranormal narrative shot entirely through the eyes of a ghost. The teen shows signs of conscious of the supernatural presence, and it looks like defensive toward her. However, the motive remains? This is an entertaining concept that doesn't outstay its welcome, featuring a surprise you might not see coming. October 11th, afternoon and evening times, Sky Cinema

The Eyes of Tammy Faye

In the battle between faith and wealth, the victory is clear for materialism in Michael Showalter's wonderfully garish true story of the disgraced religious broadcaster and her criminal husband. It's a riot of poor styling, excessive cosmetics and bad faith, though Chastain manages to depict the character in a likable light. Tuesday 14 October, 1.15am, the Film4 channel
